– One of my big money saving methods is Topcashback. It’s a site that operates in the UK and USA. It is a cashback portal that lets you earn money for purchases you make online. The only thing different you have to do is go to their website to click on the link that takes you to your normal online shop. In fact, it’s quick and easy. Let me take you through it step by step. Topcashback – Step 1
Click on the above link and sign up for an account. Furthermore, it’s free! Now search for your preferred shop. I’ll use Qatar Airways. Firstly, in the search box at the top, type the name of the company or shop you want.
Then you are presented with the search results. Oh look, there is Qatar Airways offering 2.1% cashback. Nice ! On a £1000 ticket purchase that’s cashback of £21. Just for clicking a link. That’s easy money!
Click on the pink bit that says cashback and it takes you to another page which gives you any conditions or other offers. Click the button ‘Get Cashback Now’
A new box appears. Indeed, as it says, just shop as normal and we take care of the rest!
That box disappears on its own and you will see the page you were after. In this case, it tells me my visit has been recorded. Now, just shop as normal. Your cashback, assuming you make a purchase, will be credited to your account.
You’ll also find this on the page you left just confirming.
Three stages of Topcashback
Your cashback goes through 3 stages. Pending, Confirmed and finally payable. At payable, you can choose a payout option. You can get it paid into your bank or PayPal account or choose one of the other options. I often choose to get it sent to my BA Executive Club Account as Avios.
Of course, you may be thinking, ‘well, it’s just a few quid here and there’ but this soon adds up. For example, after a couple of years of using this site, I’ve earned nearly £1300! All for just click on their link before I go shopping.
Additionally, they also do Telecoms and Insurance too. It’s well worth a look. There is a browser plugin too which notifies you whenever you are on a website that does cashback and an app for your phone.
